Colorado Rockies going to the World Series

Last night, I (Nate because Laura is in Orlando bringing home the bacon) and Sundance (although she got a little bit sleepy as the game went really late) watched sports history. for the first time in club history (which isn't all that long), the Colorado Rockies have put together a team that seems unbeatable (winning the last 21 games) and are going to the World Series!!! Somehow, in some sort of bizarre hedging betting thing, I owe my Dad 10 cents but it's worth it. Deep down somewhere I'm still a MN Twins fan (and got to see them play in September) but it certainly is great to have success with the team that plays just a few miles away!!!

Let us know if anyone is planning to come out for the Series. You are happy to stay with us.

A swampland in Florida

Laura and I just spent the weekend in the happiest place on earth - who knew it was in a swamp in Florida. Originally intending to go there with Laura's boss and her husband (before they had a meeting in Orlando on Tuesday morning), it ended up being just the two of us. We missed them but it was great to get away!! We spent one day at the Magic Kingdom, one day at the MGM studios and one day at the Typhoon Lagoon water park. Yes, we went on the Space Mountain rollercoaster (where the woman in front of us said that Nate screams like a girl - which was pretty emasculating but VERY funny for Laura so that's good). We spun ourselves sick on the teacup ride. We slept late and laid in bed watching the TV. The Aerosmith rollercoaster at MGM is intense but too short. The Tower of Terror was actually kind of a scary ride. The Buzz Lightyear ride was fun. The "tour through the movies" ride was disappointing. Above all, it was nice to get away from our rather busy jobs. After slowing down and kicking Nate to the curb at the airport, Laura headed up to her grandparents for the night and Monday and is now in Orlando doing something important with Costco that I don't understand. Evidence of Matrimonial Bliss

OK, I think that the first real blog entry should point everyone to the evidence of our matrimonial bliss (aka the wedding and honeymoon photos). I've put up many of the official photographer photos below and the official reception photos. I've also copied all of the table-top camera photos into an album (some of them are pretty washed out and some are a little odd but they are all there). Finally, I put a little online collection of pictures from our honeymoon in Kauai Hawaii!

This is the first posting for Laura and Nate's Blog. Laura's last name is no longer Price and...hence..the name of our blog. We hope to keep our far flung family up-to-date on the goings on of our existence via this blog.
