A swampland in Florida

Laura and I just spent the weekend in the happiest place on earth - who knew it was in a swamp in Florida. Originally intending to go there with Laura's boss and her husband (before they had a meeting in Orlando on Tuesday morning), it ended up being just the two of us. We missed them but it was great to get away!! We spent one day at the Magic Kingdom, one day at the MGM studios and one day at the Typhoon Lagoon water park. Yes, we went on the Space Mountain rollercoaster (where the woman in front of us said that Nate screams like a girl - which was pretty emasculating but VERY funny for Laura so that's good). We spun ourselves sick on the teacup ride. We slept late and laid in bed watching the TV. The Aerosmith rollercoaster at MGM is intense but too short. The Tower of Terror was actually kind of a scary ride. The Buzz Lightyear ride was fun. The "tour through the movies" ride was disappointing. Above all, it was nice to get away from our rather busy jobs. After slowing down and kicking Nate to the curb at the airport, Laura headed up to her grandparents for the night and Monday and is now in Orlando doing something important with Costco that I don't understand.
